Planning Team

The planning process will be led by the City of Brownsville in collaboration with HACB. The creation of the Plan will be overseen by HUD, and coordinated by BORDERLESS and COLLABO to provide specialized technical expertise and the skills needed to bring the community’s Plan to life. They bring additional resources to support the planning process and creation of the Plan.

HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE

The City of Brownsville is co-leader for this Planning Grant through the Office of the City Manager.

The Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville is the co-leader for this Planning Grant, and manages the target housing development Victoria Gardens.

STEERING COMMITTEE

The Steering Committee consists of community residents, property owners, local business representatives, service providers, educational leaders and public officials who are all stakeholders in the improvement of the International Southmost Neighborhood.

 

Steering Committee members will help identify resources or provide information and help generate and vet ideas for strategies and projects that merit consideration for inclusion in the CNP. They will also help in identifying potential partners and guide post plan implementation.
